Aushwitz-Birkenau
Auschwitz, the largest of the Nazi death camps, was located near the Polish town of Oshwiecim in Galacia and was established by Henrich Himmler on April 27, 1940. The largest number of European Jews were killed here by mass gassing using Zyklon-B. About 1.1 million people were eventually killed through starvation, gassing, shooting, burning and disease.
Dr. Josef Mengele was the main gas provider for Auschwitz and liked to experiment on twins. They were usually murdered after the experiment was over and their bodies were dissected. He would attempt to change the color of their eyes by injecting chemicals into them and tried to make Siamese twins by connecting the two together back to back. Usually there wounds become infected and they would die days later.
